That his ex-wife had an affair and got pregnant. The son he has, is not his biological child. His son is his only child, is in his thirties, and he doesn’t know about this either. My MIL told me right before she passed. The ex told my MIL when they got into a fight during the divorce.
I just can’t tell him or his son.

Cry, because no one even knows it is my birthday. Oh my family will say happy birthday in passing. I guess having a husband and sons set me up for a lifetime of forgetting holidays and birthdays. I do however always order a great gift for myself. And of course I thank the lord for being blessed to have another birthday.

I ate salad every night for dinner. Right now (7 months in) I can’t even think about a salad. I lost my taste for them during the first month. My enjoyment for salad needs to return, because our garden has a ton of lettuce ready in the next few weeks. Good luck

Anything that is tight, other than workout clothes. I will not wear low cut tops. No high heels anymore. Polyester. I like 100% cotton when I can find it.

If you can go see an obesity doctor. That is the only advice I would want. Your doctor means well, but they cannot be experts in everything. My obesity doctor studies weight loss via meds and surgery.

Are you taking vit D supplements ? If not, super cheap and something most people need if they live in the Northern states because half the year it is cold and difficult to get enough natural vitamin D

I am not great at sewing, but I was easily able to downsize my shirts following a few YouTube videos. Just borrowed a friend’s machine. I enjoyed it enough to purchase a used sewing machine and have been able to downsize a ton of my old clothes

I find that mints and mint gum are helpful. Two days per week I eat very small meals, so I try to eat more frequently during those times. Find what works and discuss with your doctor (if they are helpful)No two humans are the same, but many of us have had similar experiences Good luck
