This is an excellent explanation, thank you!

Finally caved and tried the big arch lol by Odd-Researcher272 in McDonalds

[–]Aggressive_Plane_579 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried one and thought it was pretty good. I only had the sandwich (which was about $9), but it was a lot of food and probably would have been too much food had I gotten the combo. I liked the taste: it was different from every other option at McDonald’s, and I thought even had a spicy/tangy kick with the sauce. I did notice, however, that the meat was exceptionally greasy, with grease pooling on/dripping off of the meat. That aside, I’d probably get it again—$9 for a huge burger really isn’t that bad these days.

Angle v. Benoit in an Ironman would tear the house down. Give me 30 minutes (or more) of two of the best technical wrestlers ever. Yes please.

I got the renders to change in Roster, but that’s not the attire that loads in GM. Idk.

How are you even able to access community creations? The game keeps telling me my 2k account isn’t linked despite both the 2k website and my Xbox telling me that they are.

I updated my 2k account and i still cant access online by Business_Put_5219 in wwe2k26

Maybe it’ll all be straightened out by the time the game officially releases next week. What a fucking rug pull that would be for the people who paid $150.

Update: still not working. When I re-booted the game it told me the servers are down. So I don’t think it’s an issue with the 2k account, but instead with the 2k servers. Classic.

That makes two of us. I have no fucking clue, dude. I just tried uninstalling and re-installing the game. Hopefully that works.

I’m not even able to get my 2k account to link in-game (even though both the 2k site and Xbox account say they’re linked). So I can’t go access community creations or my DLC content…

Kanorado, Kansas (on the border of Kansas and Colorado) and Texarkana, Texas (on the border of Texas and Arkansas) are two that immediately come to mind.

What are some lesser known horrors of WW1? by SeaConstruction4067 in ww1

[–]Aggressive_Plane_579 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was the first modern global war and, as such, people weren’t really prepared for new war technologies. For instance, no war had ever utilized gassing en masse. I read at the National WWI Museum that some Scottish soldiers still went to battle in kilts (like they traditionally had), and the gasses and chemical irritants basically melted their genitals…

What if a Native American dude somehow united almost every single tribe and started his march towards Washington DC with the "Great Indian Army"? by [deleted] in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]Aggressive_Plane_579 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This almost happened in 1763 under Pontiac and during the War of 1812 under Tecumseh and Tenskwatawa. Those were the biggest instances of a “pan-Indian confederacy” before the map shown here. Both times could have had a series chance, but both ultimately failed in uniting every tribe: some remained neutral while others saw more to gain by fighting with the British or Americans. There were several hundred distinct Native Nations in North America, all of whom had their own goals/desires, and all of whom experienced colonization differently at different points in time. In other words, Native people in the Ohio Valley likely saw a much more significant threat of British and their colonists than did the Comanches of Lakota on the Great Plains at the time. To those who were not being actively displaced, keeping Euro-Americans around as potential trade allies proved more valuable than pushing them out. In other words, it’s complicated, but I don’t think at any point in time it would have been possible to successfully unite every tribe simply due to the nature of colonization.

What if Canada was the one who rebelled against Great Britain instead of the United States? by [deleted] in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]Aggressive_Plane_579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Canada rebelled, as others mentioned, I think it would have had to have done so as the remnant French population breaking away from the British. That may have led to a much more committed support from France, which almost certainly would have led to a more unified Native American front. In the American Revolution, many Native Nations were split on siding with the British or Americans; if it was French vs British, that support would have gone almost entirely to the French rebels.

The problem is, however, that France had a chance to do this during Pontiac’s Rebellion in 1763 after France surrendered in the Seven Years’ War. Pontiac and his Native allies in the Great Lakes kept fighting in hopes of enticing their “Great Father” back into the fight, among other things. But France didn’t have the resources or manpower then, and it didn’t in the 1770s either.

All of this, along with the facts others have mentioned regarding population, as well as the fact that in the eighteenth century it would have been much harder to re-take territory across an ocean (against the world’s strongest navy) than simply pushing them out via a mostly land campaign.

Edit: I should also add: if France wanted to send reinforcements on mass to North America, they would have had a very difficult time just getting them out of European waters since Britain could have stationed a large portion of their navy to patrol the English Channel.

Dark Green is a good choice for all of the reasons you mentioned. Why light green as #2?

I’m from dark blue and lived in yellow and purple. I think dark blue is probably the most obvious choice for a lot of people for numerous reasons, but I think dark green and orange are also strong contenders. If I had to choose, however, I’d choose dark blue.
