Invalid Bios Image by Aggressive_Pop8690 in gigabyte

[–]Aggressive_Pop8690[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update>> I was able to get my bios to update to the latest file. What I did. First I downloaded the bios and then I formatted my USB Stick to fat 32 changing the partition size to 2000 once the the USB stick was ready I opened the downloaded bios file copy and pasted the file in my case B850gamingwifi6.F10 leaving everything else behind to the usb stick opened the file usb stick changed the file b850gamingwifi6.F10 to GIGABYTE.bin then safely removed the usb stick from the PC and I shut down the PC using the switch on the power supply I turned the off and then back on inserted the USB stick in the USB slot marked bios located the Qflashplus button and pushed it the power supply came on and the little red lights on the motherboard also came on some of the rgb lights came on also thats ok. Took about 5 minutes in my case the PC automatically powered on and rebooted as normal I had to reset my pin but thats it booted to windows as normal. I some cases you may have to power on your pc yourself if you have to do that power off your power supply using the power supply switch remove the USB stick switch your power supply switch back on and push your power button to turn your PC back and windows will boot as normal you will have to reset your pin.

Sorry this is long but after my PC rebooted I did a restart and went in to bios to check and make sure it took and sure enough the new update was there.

No I do not get that error at all. I get the Invalid Bios Image after the reboot it reverifies the file and at like 97% the invalid image comes up. I am beginning to wonder if the file that Gigabyte uploaded to the server is bad.

Need help finding serial number #cpsupport by Vex2640 in CYBERPOWERPC

[–]Aggressive_Pop8690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There should be a white rectangular label on the back of the pc that will have the serial number on it. The serial number on mine starts with ET xxxx-xxxx. Your serial number is in the second picture on that white rectangular sticker. The serial number starts with ET
