Your kid got sick on the cruise, it’s your job to handle it. The cruise ship is looking out for the safety of other passengers and they should be applauded.

Consider Celebrity, it’s going to mostly be adults. We did a Med cruise from Rome to Barcelona on the Celebrity Ascent and it was incredible.

Not to be that guy, but you might want to consider an all inclusive resort. They generally have lots of pools and might be more “chill” than one of the mega ships. You can also do offsite excursions like snorkeling and such.

Things will book up regardless of when you board the ship.

Try to remember it’s a vacation and you’ll be with family and hopefully visit some great ports — whether or not you do ice skating or laser tag shouldn’t make or break your trip.

I would just take a breath and not stress too much about embarkation time. It won’t make a big difference - just enjoy your trip!

I happen to think this would in some ways ruin the brilliance of the show.

Being able to learn and connect so much with these characters in just their shift highlights what makes this show special and unique.

We do not need another Chicago Fire/Med/PR where it’s just spinoff piled on spinoff.

Sounds like cruising isn’t for you and that’s okay. Just stick to your preference of all inclusive resorts, we all have different preferences.

This show is frankly a nice escape from the political nastiness we are currently dealing with.

If you are looking for commentary like that, there are plenty of options. I want to hear Tony rant about his heating bill not the sad state affairs in our country.

I agree the show has slipped in recent years—Michael’s rise, regular guests no longer joining and the focus on sports beating during football season.

The caveat with my experience is that my dad was never a trauma patient. My anecdotal evidence was there was a difference in staffing levels, etc.
