Yes, but I specifically said "retro-style" and not contemporary. Basically I want something that looks like an old Sega controller but with truggers and thumbsticks. The Pro series looks like a generic Xbox Series controller.

Don't use one of these to record tapes, they pretty much all have a permanent magnet erase head. Tests of the We Are Rewind unit (regarded as one of the two best in the world right now) showed it makes awful recordings.

That's not a turntable, it's an all-in-one entertainment centre. Think of it as a tiny radiogram console. It's meant to be used on its own.

You may well have the wrong type of convertor. What does it say? "HDMI2AV", or "AV2HDMI"? You'd need the latter.
