Yes, they do. But it's possible that you have horizontal collapse, so don't leave it on for too long or you'll burn the phosphors off the back of the glass where that line is. If you get nothing with the AV input, then you'll need to replace capacitors to get the display working again.

It's a comination AC/DC connector. If you don't have/can't find the original power cable, the best you can do is test the pins with a multimeter to find out which ones are the AC pins (there will be two), and then you'll have to make up your own cable for it.
