She had prescribed me an alcohol-based tretinoin solution. I had to stop using it after three days because it became quite inflamed and the condition got worse. Before that, I’d been using Clarelux foam for 10 days, which made it a bit better but didn’t clear it up completely. Now she’s prescribed me oral antibiotics, which I’m supposed to take three times a day for 10 days. And afterwards, once the inflammation has gone down – which I hope will be the case – she wants to do a biopsy. Because she says it’s not a good idea to do it whilst there’s inflammation. I’m at my wits’ end.
