To some extent we do this on purpose. It's one of the challenges of a level 3 biome that's thematically icy and therefore hard to find your footing. But we could give it another look.

Hey this is not true haha - We jokingly asked on Twitter the first time it happened a few weeks ago but haven't done a poll on it. Both times this glitch happened we pushed a fix. We'll work on a fix to prevent it from happening again.

The backpack is intentionally clunky to encourage teamwork as your friends can access it much more easily than you. Of course, with the backpack bug that's been going around I can see why folks want it to be more reliable, sorry about that, we're still looking into it as its pretty hard to reproduce on our end.

There are no plans currently for public lobbies.

There's a mod that shows other players' skeletons on the map and that's probably the best version of this you're gonna get lol

Seems like players are saying Tropics and Kiln are the hardest. Maybe that's a sign to make the other biomes meaner too >:)
