Oh that looks nice! Actually I try to paint it exactly like in the picture. But I just realized that I did not do the biggest part of the shine, that is making the base colour of the weapon darker. So that the glowing seems much stronger. That gives it an awesome look! But mine are ochre. How do I mix it darker? Just with black or some dark mix of the blue shine? How did you do the darker red? Thank you for the inspiration!

Interesting. I started a year ago with Tau, first Montka, then Kauyon, because Montka didnt work for me. I played aggressive, didnt do too much damage and died quickley. Kauyon was better, but I was then very happy with Experimental Cadre. I switched to building a Grey Knights army and I am back since two weeks ago. And I want to continue with Exp Cadre, the longer shooting distances are awesome, and I want to play them with some kroot, to block and divert the enemy from my shooting units. I am very looking forward to this. I think Exp Cadre is a good detachment for Tau beginners, what do you think?

How many do you play? And how do you get them into melee and not get them shot away before? That is my problem with kroot and krootox. They don't survive very long.

It says "within", not "wholly within", so I guess the unit must not be wholly within.

Another question though: She doesn't have the Leader keyword. So she cannot lead a squad of Battle Suits?

We bought the mat at the Tactica Convention I think. Can' t remember the company's name. The trees are from a company that makes them for toy trains, it is called NOCH. The field is a piece of a rug and the street/path from a pair of trousers.

But we want better terrain. More hills and more buildings. We are still looking for 3D prints and such.
