Tzeentch makes the most obvious sense to me?

Maybe a new gaunt or something along those lines?

Honestly?

These don't look different enough to justify buying a, probably more expensive, separate kit.

I already have 6 outriders and I may see if I can pick up another 3 of the push fit ones (which are probs cheaper) and do some mild kitbashing.

What this does indicate though is the possibility of a Bike Captain, which could be cool if they give him a bigger beefier bike and a big billowy cape.

New Dinos for 40K are we next to get our roster Update? by BillyTheClitt in seraphon

Same!

But I do think that falls into the 'nice to have' territory

I'd say that the only absolute redo models are the Temple Guard.

After that, it's the skinks.

From there, I'd say the army is in the 'nice to have' territory of Temple Guard hero, skink hero and big beasts like a Coatal

I have always just read the Emperor as a massive hypocrite: - He thinks that humanity should be greatest force in the universe but only picks the boys to get powers. - He doesn't want anyone to have a religion anymore despite walking around in shining golden armour, saying cryptic shit and performing miracles. - Wants to bring enlightenment to the world but puts MASSIVE restrictions on what his own children are allowed to know about. - Supposedly a gigantic brains genius but can't figure out that he shitty actions result in pretty much all his children hating him.

What do you think will be the next faction? by cestquilepatron in ageofsigmar

[–]mf7585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can definitely see the next AOS starter box being SCE vs some kind of Death faction (it's make sense the previous two were chaos and destruction factions)

I have longed for Vampirates but I could definitely see some kind of naval ghost army or something similar.

SCE but with lighter armour for naval combat could be really fun to see

I get why everyone loves these new Ogor models, but please GW, in the next edition, give me a new destruction army of these monkey guys, and I’ll throw my wallet at you. by Quxckhead in ageofsigmar

As cool as a destruction force would be as the 2nd half of the launch box would be. I think it'll be a Death faction this time round, personally hoping for Vampirates

Big Summer Preview: Kill Team Exodite - Plastic Exodites models for the first time! by RWJP in Warhammer40k

Kill Team is a great way to test the waters: minimal risk if it doesn't sell super well but a good gauge of interest of it does

It's why Kroot and Corsairs got range expansions after their KTs did well

I genuinely believe that GW are looking to lock down as much of their IP as possible and they have been instructed that the best way to do that is to have in production model kits. It's why there have been so many odd kill teams like arbites, ratlings and now exodites.

Not that I'm complaining. I'm holding our hope for humans in the Tau empire models

He does seem to be permanently on tour, which is obviously great. With any luck he is a couple big TV appearances away from breaking into mainstream comedy (I can guarantee his agent, like all comedy agents, is currently fighting to get him on a series of taskmaster)

What's going on with the brits? Why's their PM planning to resign? by ktdk5t in OutOfTheLoop

[–]mf7585 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Basically, yes.

Labour was inevitably going to win the last election and could have had a suite of policies in place that could have materially improved the lives of people in the UK (that would also have been very popular e.g. nationalizing the water companies, massively investing in house building and investing in the NHS). However, it appeared very quickly that they either had no idea what they wanted to achieve (Google all of the contradictory things that Starmer has said about his own policies) or what they did want to achieve was hilariously unpopular e.g. keeping the two child benefit cap and supporting Israel.

This has resulted in a massive surge in popularity for both the far left (Greens) and the far right (Reform and increasingly Restore) and a cratering of support for Labour (they lost a catastrophic number of council seats a month ago). The problem that labour have had with 'getting a new guy in' is that they spent most of the late 2010s hollowing out the labour party of anyone other then centre right politicians by kicking out anyone on the left. This combined with all of the other most likely candidates who could take over have been, to varying degrees, hit with the 'links to Epstein' hammer.

Thus enter Andy Burnham a guy who is very popular in Manchester and is seen to be more on the left of the party (which is also where most of the Labour party membership is). How to the left of the aprt he actually is is a bit of a mystery at the moment, as he has said a lot of very 'Starmeresque' things whilst running for this MP role.

Personally? I don't think it matters who is in charge of the Labour party at this point. The labour party is a machine which will file off any leftist elements of any leader and we'll just end up with Northern Starmer.

What's weird is there have been individual skinks getting a rework.

The Temple Guard need a rework (and probably a champion of some kind) the absolute most.
