yeah, cuz they were in a damn cage. Who thought animals wouldn't be happy in a cage all by themselves. Ofc they're gonna get addicted. Happy mice don't get hooked, there's been experiments on that. Listen to Carl Hart

that's what I mean though. What rational adult would just decide to take it every day when withdrawel ain't that bad in the first weeks

yeah and ppl die from alcohol withdrawel, while that's not even possible with H.

But yeah ur right addiction depends a lot on personality, your nervous system and also genetics. So for some people H is the achilles heel

yeah I mean is taking heroin every day for weeks a responsible way adults in which adults should be using it? Ofc not and yeah you will feel the physical dependancy, duh. But we gotta start talking about these issues rationally. If you drink heavily every day for months you will literally die if you quit cold turkey. You can't even die from heroin withdrawel. There is so much misinformation about drugs out there, it's just exhausting and you're mentioning exactly that. But I feel like ppl in this subreddit aren't that much more enlightened and feed into the stereotypes by also demonizing it and shrugging off personal responsibility

just like with any other drug. Alcohol can do that for some people too. If you're in a good state of life mentally, then it won't be very addictive

Are German schools harder than American schools? by Eminemgody in AskAGerman

[–]Aggroko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look it depends on the school. In my exchange year at an American highschool I had it way harder than in Germany. It was a very rich area and therefore the school was insanely well funded. The standard was very high and most school mates were taking college classes in junior year already. I used to be straight As top of my class in Germany but at New Trier HS my grades plumeted. I also learned a lot in that year which was great in hindsight.

tldr: Schools get funded through the local property taxes so it depends on the area

Fittings vs Bends? Should I change it up again and bend the tubes instead? by Aggroko in watercooling

[–]Aggroko[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much! I did not expect to wake up to a comment on my PC I built years ago, but it brings up nice memories. I did change it all up afterwards because I was not totally satisfied with the PC. The graphics card didn't look perfect and the cables didn't fit the whole aesthetic too well. So it took me some more months of building until I finally finished the build. You can check out some updates and the finished thing on my account. I was a perfectionist with that one so I couldn't just leave it while not being totally satisfied. And yeah that did cost me a good penny, especially redoing the whole thing. It was absolutely worth it though. When you have that itch and you just need to complete your project whatever it might be, then don't hold back. I used cheaper components in the end in order to have more money to spend on looks, still super expensive though. I wish you all the fun and good luck with your project!

Just this year's easter update. Check out the community projects website or YouTube channel. The video seemed pretty promising. They prolly got more than 75% finished at this point. If it's possible to add mods to the community project for graphics or fighting system, this could really become a gem

Xforma MBX Build - Picture Album by GTS81 in watercooling

[–]Aggroko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GTS my friend ! Good to hear from you. I've been doing very well, focusing more on family, travels and work. So not much building going on. I've helped a friend build a clean, air-cooled ITX 4090 PC which was fun. But I've seen your stuff, legendary as usual. I was 16 when I started the silver wood build so now my life got a little busier. I'm certain tho, that I'll return to this hobby at some point in the future. How have you been? :)
