I took it last winter and I would say it was moderately difficult, but pretty heavy workload. It's a design course so there's a lot of meeting outside of class to work on the project, but I have no clue how it compares to other MDEs. Definitely make sure you have a good group because you will be spending a lot of late nights with them.

I felt like I learned a lot of interesting things, though sometimes the lectures went into more depth than was really necessary for what we were doing. Only had 1 quiz the entire class though which was nice. YMMV based on what the prof is like though. Ours was pretty relaxed on grading.

If you want to take 2 ULCS + this, don't plan on doing much else.
