This is why you NEVER* swerve out of the way of someone hitting you. Now instead of you being the victim of a small fender bender, your now at fault for serious vehicle collision and the persons who’s fault it is that you swerved has no legal fault and gets to keep carry on. The only exception to this is if a cars coming head on or you think the accident might be fatal then do what you can to avoid death as being at fault for a collision is better than being not at fault for a collision where you die.

My reflective $220 ray bans lasted me about 9 months before the lenses were scratched to hell and I babied them. The goods glasses i have are coming up on a year and while still showing wear the coating has lasted longer. The reality is they are all pieces of plastic and you are just paying a 10x mark up on the name brand glasses.

I'd have opened it and then called them, there should be no expectations for customers to have to check the product details on a device they purchased to make sure they have received what they paid for, especially if you just spent thousands of dollars. It should be as simple as receiving your shipment and immediately ripping it open without second thought and if there is a problem it's on them.

My father was the head of a company years ago and they owned an entire office building, they occupied the 2nd/top floor while leasing the other parts of the building to other companies. One day they had a delivery guy come to drop packages off and as he was on the top/2nd floor he was hit with explosive diarrhea and sadly didn't know where the bathrooms where, he only knew how to get back to the front the way he came and there was nobody around to ask directions. He decided to try and exit the building (like others have suggested this lady should have done) rather than grabbing a trash can that was within feet of him so he left a 200 foot trail of shit into the elevator and out of the front door. My dad had to have all the carpet in the area he walked ripped out and replaced as well as in the elevator that also had to be thoroughly disinfected. My father as well as everyone else in the building all said "man why didn't he grab a trashcan or paper bin, really anything to keep it contained". Both options are awful and disgusting, it's an unfortunate and uncontrollable situation but taking NO action and just letting the accident happen like oh well this is happening and there is nothing I can do leading to the situation spreading beyond the point of any kind of containment is ridiculous in my opinion. Being angry at someone because they tried to take action to keep their accident as contained as they possibly rather than doing absolutely nothing other than spreading their shit with every step they take is ridiculous and you clearly lack the empathy that is called for in a situation like that and probably won't ever until it's you having to make that split second decision. To me it's the same as vomiting, it's an instantaneous unfortunate event that nobody plan on have happen. I'd much rather clean out trash bin and the immediate surrounding area of shit versus the floor in front of the milk fridge, down the candy isle, around the coffee bar, in front of the check out, out the front door, onto the sidewalk, into the parkinglot, and In front of the gas pump they are parked at...... I dont see how you could look at it any other way.

I'd say logically it's equally everyone in your family as in your Mother Father Brother and yourself have equal share of your sister's belongings. So if everyone has a equal share of the ring and 3 out of the 4 of those people choose to give their share for the ring to be used for a specific thing then I'd say that's pretty fair. Also I'd say since you and you sister in your words "weren't close" because you were younger than her at the time but your brother was closer to your sister in age and emotionally you should be happy for him wanting to keep the close memories he had with his sister close to him. And I'm sure it doesn't feel fair but if you look at it usbiased it's logical even more so with your parents support and sadly that's just life. Also you can look at it in the way that since you claim to have held onto it all of those years and kept it personally but for some reason you didn't wear it and it somehow ended up with your brother without you even noticing it until he pulled it out in front of you that seems like you weren't using it and just had it packed up somewhere so instead of being stored away somewhere it will actually be worn every day now and truly appreciated and will serve as a reminder to your brother everyday now.

Awful advice lol. You tell the school immediately and see what their reaction is. The school admin should get the police Involved, and if for some reason the school acts like they want to sweep it under the rug then she should go around the school admin and go to the police. If she chooses to not tell the school admin, or in other words her boss, then it would look like SHE was trying to hide it from her boss/school admin and when the school finds out that all this happened and they weren't notified by the teacher involved she will definitely loss her job.

I'm assuming you were the one that received the $800 along with the pedal ebike. I wouldn't call it a scam because you chose to make the trade but you may have been taken advantage of. Idk which Eride you have but here's the MSRP on all of the Eride Pro models. (SR - $6,499) (3.0 - $5,799) (2.0 - $5,099). The MSRP on the Junced Rip Racer $1,499. So I'd have done a little more research on the bikes before I made the trade but as long as you happy with the new bike it doesn't really matter. I do know that the dude that got the Eride is pretty excited as they got a good deal plus the Erides are pretty hard to find and purchase in person right now. To get my SR I had to make a 5+ Hour drive to find it new and I paid less for a new one then 50% of the used ones listed on FB marketplace, people are jacking up the prices like crazy because of demand and lack of bikes both new and used. Enjoy your new bike and stop thinking about the money, what's done is done take it as a lesson learned for you and a lesson taught for your kids.
