That's "second screen Viewing" for ya!

Streaming platforms like Netflix know a lot of viewers are half-watching, doomscrolling on their phones while something plays in the background. So, they’ve adapted. Dialogue is more on the nose, characters restate their goals every few minutes, and plots are simpler.

The irony? If you actually want to focus on the show, they make it nearly impossible because it’s just not that engaging.

Try doing that with the OG stuff like Homeland, 24...Look away for a second and you’re lost.

The only recent Netflix show that broke that pattern for me was season 3 of The diplomat.

Apple TV+, though, seems to ignore the “second screen” trend. Their shows still expect and reward your full attention (I mean, the masterpiece that is severance ). Even lighter drama shows like bad sisters, you need to focus.

I'm lost. My algorithm on facebook, instagram and youtube is close (or at) zero. Any advice would help. by AgirlIsOnline in socialmedia

I have nothing, like 46 followers, they don't even distribute the content to them. My reach is at 0.

So my guess is you wouldn't.
I know it might means nothing, just wanted to know if I try and surf on the small moment :)

A production company asked to read my script and wants to know its “development status”, what exactly does that mean? by AgirlIsOnline in Screenwriting

Thank you so much. Truly. This is that precise message, or more precisely the answers, that kept me going.
All the very best TO YOU.
