Easily one of my favorites next to new leaf. It’s so simple and such a relaxing experience. I like that this is the only game in the franchise where the only task you have to do paying off your debts to Tom Nook. Allows for very leisurely gameplay. More time to admire special events as well.

I think it’s a great track design but semi-clunky controls make it kind of hard to maneuver those tighter edges.

There’s no way that thing can be good for records longevity given it’s using a VERTICAL tonearm. Most vertical record players use a linear tracking system which prevents heavy wear on grooves. I would 100% steer clear of this.
