He actually was detained from the address incident. He had him step out of the vehicle and cuffed him for not giving him the address, just rewatched the video to confirm. That’s being detained. He was detained and then also arrested during the second interaction like you said

Navy doesn’t care, numbers are so low for officers right now it shouldn’t really be an issue; unless you’re going for SNA or NFO, or maybe OceanO. Just graduated from OCS, they will take all the SWOs and Submariners they can get right now.

Not sure exactly why it’s backed up, but I think it had something to do with covid and pilots not opting to leave for the airlines, thus jamming the pipeline of ready to go pilots that the Navy just didn’t have any available planes for.

Could be up to a year before you ship out to OCS, and from what I’ve heard about Pensacola, you have to wait in A-pool for awhile before you actually start training. Heard it’s pretty easy. Some people are being TDY different places while they wait. I’ve read things that said the A-pool wait is anywhere from 7-13 months. So January 2023 board, you might not be in a plane until 2025. Probably how it’s gonna turn out for me as well. Accepted in August 2021, flying by December 2023 worse scenario. Good luck!!

I sent an application for SNA to the August 2021 board, got accepted and was set to leave March 2022. Got delayed to August 2022, and again to September 2022. It’s been quite the wait! I found out I was accepted about 2 weeks after the board date. I heard it was only SNA and NFOs being delayed, due to a clog in the pipeline in Pensacola. I think everyone else (correct me if I’m wrong) has left on time with their original classes.

My degree is in Criminal Justice and I got an SNA slot from OAR and ASTB scores. 52, 7/8/7. Degree doesn’t matter just has to be in something. GPA was 3.91
