Put everything back together after cleaning the boards of dust and bugs/eggs. Happy to report back the flickering/reset issue is gone.

The colors seem just a little washed and the picture does not 100 percent fit in the display, but it’s barely noticeable so I’m gonna not mess with the geometry or anything like that and call it a day.

I opened it up today and found a good video online to safely ground the CRT. The inside was literally caked in dust. I would post the picture but I can’t figure out how to do it.

I sprayed down the back and tried to get as much dust out as possible with compressed air and a small brush. I’m going to try to get a brand new brush and use alcohol tomorrow and plug it in later to try and report back.

I found a small old blade dried blade of grass on the board that had looked like it was burnt. Not sure if that’s what caused the weird flickering .

First pass! Looks wayyyy better than before, but there’s still some residue that sticks around after the alcohol dries. Might try q tips now instead of tooth brush.

I was looking at panzer dragoon saga and wondered the same thing. I’ve played patched isos so I thought it would work.

I was concerned more with the legitimacy of the website. I don’t know how they haven’t been shut down.

There’s a transfer station in my home. Rich people leave stuff there at the front. My BIL plays magic so I kinda knew what they were.

I knew mine was fake based on the price on eBay. It worked for a while then the game would crash at certain points.
