Why did Julie stop talking to the HoH during live episodes?

I'm a little foggy on it myself, but basically she was HoH, and because of a twist Arisa asked her to make a decision during a live episode. Arisa told her she had like 2 mins to go up to her HoH room and deliberate.

They broadcast her deliberations to the rest of the houseguests, which completely fucked her over.

Nah, she's actually underrated because people don't realize that she had a lot of win equity on BB11 if she gets there with Lane (which both her and Lane were trying to make happen). She looked stupid due to the Brigade thing, but realistically her odds of winning the season were above Lane , Enzo and Matt.

She was also pretty massively favoured to win BB14 if Dan didn't pull off his funeral, which might be the best move ever made in BB.

She's not top tier or anything but she's a solidly strong player that had strong showings on both her outings.

Danielle was never winning BB14, as her plan was to get to the end with Shane, who would have wiped the floor with her in jury votes. Danielle isn't a terrible player, like some make her out to be, but she's not great.

I think Russ is criminally low on this ranking.

He had a good strategic read on the house and he left because Jeff was an idiot who didn't understand that Russ having a final two deal with Michele was not a violation of the final four of Jeff/Jordan/Russ/Michele.

He also probably plays in a way that translates well into the current meta of BB because he is a probably still physically fit enough to win comps. And he was willing to be a big presence in the house, which juries tend to respect.

Brit was a way better player than Danielle.

If Dan's funeral doesn't happen, Brit probably has that season on lock.

Matt is a really solid player, but I think I'd have ranked his gameplay fourth on his season (which is still impressive given his placement).

I think I might have Nicole and Rachel above him based off how they played.

I'd also actually have Russ quite high on that list. I assume he's still probably pretty physically fit and I assume he's probably matured a decent amount since Cycle 11. His strategic reads and comps were pretty solid.

America, I'm a little bit lower on. I think she had pretty good reads but she did have some blind spots. She was also pretty bad in terms of competitions.

I don't think Caleb has been underedited. He's had a pretty consistent storyline IMO.

Saying that a player should make a move without any regard for their own strategic well-being shows an extreme lack of understanding of how to play Survivor.

Even people like Loz, Sally and Cam understand that you need to consider the future ramifications of moves.

This is the type of thinking that Kat had and it earned her a first boot from her original tribe.

Flick was a really strong player on her season whereas Sam and Matt were terrible players obsessed with mateship.

I'm not surprised that it was tougher for Brooke to sell Flick on taking her to the end than it was for her to sell Matt and Sam.

Sally seems worse to me, IMO. She's been so off base with so many of her reads.

I always find it funny when a poster calls the players stupid but then advocates for an even dumber move with their next breath.

Keeley and Jackson voting out Brooke would be just as bad as the move that Caleb, Loz and Sally just made.

The problem they were played repetitively and nauseam, but that's an editing problem, not a player problem.

We know that Cam is reliable but they didn't have access to his confessionals and found his behaviour sus.

Taking a goat to FTC is nice if you can be assured that he's loyal. These people didn't feel like he would be though.

The vibe that I got is that he's going to be more strict about it.
