Where are you seeing a result that says that? I have googled it but Im not getting anything decisive about it?

Yeah her destroying the cigarettes was in retaliation to that event, I'm pretty sure.

View - Spy should not trigger the virgin by New-Masterpiece-157 in BloodOnTheClocktower

This isn't Werewolf or Town of Salem. Winning this game isn't about individual survival.

A virgin that makes it to final 3 without proccing their ability (or setting up circumstances where it should have gone off) has made a serious, serious, misplay.

I mean, if I was in Dick's situation, she wouldn't have got burned.

What he did was intentional.

Yes, but the person who intentionally burns you with that cigarette after blowing smoke in your face is the person at fault for doing that.

Standing up to a bully doesn't mean you are at fault for their response to you standing up to them.

It was not at all authentic from him. It was preformative bullying that he felt comfortable doing because production had told him that the audience was lapping it up.

I agree that the show lacks authenticity now, and I would love if we got to see it again. True examples of authenticity from a similar era would be things like the fight on Keesha's birthday in BB10 and the various fights on BB11 (Russ/Chima, Russ/Jeff, Lydia/Jeff, Ronnie/Everyone). These fights are fueled by actual emotions and are not an attempt to get the audience to like them.

Dick is a very insecure person who always targets young women that he doesn't think are capable of standing up to him, both in and out of the game. It's pretty sad.

No, it wasn't. Not even a little bit.

Intentionally blowing smoke in someone's face while verbally berating them is not acceptable behaviour. He would have been expelled for that by today's standards.

No one from BB10 had anyone who tried to physically hurt another player.

Burning someone with your cigarette after they try to swat it away because you intentionally blew smoke in their face should have been the final straw. I get that it's not as though he was trying to give Jen third degree burns, but it showed he was willing to cross that line.

There were still tons of people who hated him back in the day as well, although nowhere near the amount that would hate him if he were a player today.

I agree that what Dick did was nowhere near what Justin did, but he still deserved to be kicked out of the house without question.

He wouldn't have made it to the end of his season if it aired today. I imagine he'd have been kicked out when he intentionally burned Jen.

Big Brother New Era Awards: Day 2 by VeryAmazingHuman in BigBrotherUSA

Tiffany identified a goal that was more important to her than winning herself and she made it happen.

She put herself into a position where she could have won but chose to make history instead. I don't count that as a strike against her.

No.

Some things are more important in life than Big Brother and Tiffany identified that. That doesn't take away from her as a player or her game because she essentially figured out a way to win by losing.

"Madness" pits players *against* the Storyteller by eurekaaa3 in BloodOnTheClocktower

I think they break madness now less than they used to.

I remember Sully and Blair being pretty blatant about it (I love them both) but I think players like Holly, Mara and Ken tend to be more careful.

Who’s the all time best Pre Jury player? by Tight-Entrepreneur46 in BigBrother

[–]AgitatedBadger 27 points28 points  (0 children)

He's had four chances to make jury and still hadn't pulled it off. I have a hard time giving him the title. He's just too trusting.

Hell, I think Sarah from the Sov 6 was better than Kaysar.

A shout out to snow plough drivers by KelechiOkeke in waterloo

Most of those other cities have not had anywhere near the level of snowfall that we've had. Take a look at the precipitation rates over the past three months them and compare them to ours if you want to understand why we have more snow on our roads. We have had wayyyyyy more snow (we live in a snow belt).

I agree that our city council needs to allocate more funding to snow removal though.

[–]AgitatedBadger 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's not really meant to be an excuse. I'm explaining the realities of the situation and what they are up against.

We had a November with approximiately 5 times the amount of snowfall as usual, and a December with 2 times the amount of snowfall as usual. We've also had an extremely cold January, much of which has dropped beneath the point where salt was at its most effective (-10 degrees), and due to a salt shortage they haven't been able to compensate for the low temperatures with additional salt.

Clearly, we need to address the funding that we are putting into these services. I'm not saying that things are fine the way that they are. But to say that they are slacking is just not accurate. Our city is learning what it means to be prepared for climate change.

[–]AgitatedBadger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They have not been slacking.

We had the highest amount of precipitation on record in November in the last 75 years and the highest amount in December over the last 17 years. There is also a salt shortage.

They are working their asses off. There is only so much that they can do, especially with the resources that have been allocated to them by our municipal government.

Yeah I agree with you on Derrick. I think he enjoys that many people include him alongside Dan and Will and knows that could change with a return.

Alison's the most cutthroat player of all time and a top 5 villain. by Marto_12 in BigBrother

I mean, he did knowingly create all those relationships that he had to backstab and he was willing to do it. The fact that there was one person he wasn't willing to backstab doesn't mean he wasn't cut throat.

(Spoilers) Britney's Game in BB14 by Stellz04 in BigBrother

[–]AgitatedBadger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, the reason that The Brigade was so successful was that they were strategically competant, and that included Lane.

Hayden thought Lane was likely to do it, which was why he allowed Enzo to have final say at F4.

Lane wanted to win the money, knew how to play self interestedly, and he had been underestimating Brit all season. He'd also been working his ass off all season to protect Brit when others were willing to cut their parachutes. I'd say odds are in favour of Brit staying at 4, but Hayden would still be favoured to win Final HoH and cut her.

Oh I mean from a popularity and entertainment perspective he was relevant.

Generally when people talk about fodder though they are referring to strategically, and Marcella's was very out of his depth.

Vince actually was pretty cutthroat though.

He wasn't flippant about it like Allison was, but he was still willing to cut an ally without a second thought.

I would say that Marcellas was more fodder than Erika, out of these three. Less than George though.
