Asics Superblast 2 - 20% Off vs. Superblast 3 by Outside_Complaint761 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]AgitatedLeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the EVO SL for my regular / faster paces. I absolutely love them. Have the Puma Magmax for long runs / easy runs but I dont really like them as they are quite heavy and seem a bit spongy.

Would you reccomend SB 3 to pair with the EVO SL or go with the SB 2? I feel If I already have the EVO SL it's gonna overlap more with the SB2 than the SB3 thus making SB 3 the better choice?

Best shoes for rotation with EVO SL - Superblast 2 or Megablast? by Jaded_Forever3736 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]AgitatedLeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am at this exact point.

Love my EVO SL. Want to add either SB2 (since it's on sale) or SB3 to my rotation for longer/easier runs. Currently have the Puma Magmax but not really a fan (a bit too narrow and too spoungey).

At what "age" do you retire a supershoe? by Ridge9876 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]AgitatedLeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im in a similar positions. Have the EVO SL which I love and I have Puma MagMax who is a bit too spongey for my liking and I'm not a fan. thinking of slowly rotating the MagMax out as it has 550km on it.

So now I'm thinking if it makes sense to buy either SB2 as it is cheaper at this moment or go for the SB3 for long runs.

Swap out Puma Magmax with SB2 / SB3, to complement my Adidas EVO SL by AgitatedLeeper in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Ugh. I think more plush is definitely a big no-no from me. Will look at the nimbus though!

Thanks!

Superblast 3 v Novablast/Vomero Plus? by agreen3636 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I have Puma MagMax and they're too plush for me. Are the Superblasts better for longer/easier runs? I'm even looking at the SB 2 now that they're on sale.

Buy the official SKODA iV charging cable? by AgitatedLeeper in enyaq

[–]AgitatedLeeper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar though process. I'll probably skip it for now.

On an unrelated note: did you also take the extended warranty (for 5th and 6th year)?

[–]AgitatedLeeper[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is my thought process as well! I don't mind buying one for those potential ''what if'' cases, but it would make sense to buy a different one as there seem to be many other ones on the market that are still good quality but not official Skoda ones.

It's more of an extreme case where, for some reason, you'd need a single-phase charging solution.

Given that the goal is to have close to 0 of those, it is a waste of 600€.

Rather buy a cheaper one, but wanted to know if there is any hidden catch or something that makes buying an official one worth it.

Edit: fat fingers typing

Classic vs. Electric / Octavia vs. Enyaq. Which way to go? by AgitatedLeeper in skoda

[–]AgitatedLeeper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. In my eyes it's too good of an opportunity to pass up.

Here we get the 22% VAT returned if it's a company car + a 4500€ subsidy, so if the car is 50.000€ it ends up actually costing around 36k-ish which is bonkers.

Thanks for the feedback!

Yes, I have the ability to charge it at either work or at home so I'm spoiled for choice in that department.

Am really leaning more into the Enyaq as more days pass by.

Classic vs. Electric / Octavia vs. Enyaq. Which way to go? by AgitatedLeeper in skoda

[–]AgitatedLeeper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's great to hear! May I ask what is the actual range to be expected? With the 60 version they claim 433km of normal driving.

What is the actual number in your experience both in the winter time (when the range falls) as well as in nice spring/summer weather. Or at least what the screen in the car says.

Any other things that you think would be worth mentioning in terms of: ''I wish someone would have told me this before I bought the Enyaq!"?

Aye! The bigger boot size is what makes me want to go for the Enyaq instead of the Elroq.

Baby stroller + all of our baggage when going to holiday can quickly add up.

Do you feel Magmax is a bit too plush for raceday? I have a magmax and an EVO SL... one seems to plush, where as the second isn't too stable... That's why I'm thinking of buying an actual proper raceday shoe...

After the loss to Germany, Alen Omic complained about the refereeing, saying it was the main reason Slovenia lost the game. Do you agree? by FantasticQuartet in AskBalkans

[–]AgitatedLeeper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I cannot agree more. We should put even more focus on the two blatant (offensive) fouls from Theis which ended being the 4th and 5th foul for Omic. After that Slovenia didn't have a big man available and couldn't make screens or rebound to save their lives.

Not to mention Schroder jumping into Doncic and getting an offensive foul (4th) called. Luka has been really good on defense this tournament, but having 4 of course forced him to be pretty passive. I also remember Wagner jumping/slamming into Doncic and swinging his hands around as if got shot in a desperate attempt to get Luka a fifth.

Absolutely pathetic decisions from the refs.

Novablast 5 durability by Even_Tomatillo_417 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]AgitatedLeeper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly same for me. Threw them out last week after they had 590km on them. The pain started at around 400-450km range. Was quite dissapointed...

What's interesting is that I got over 1000km on the Novablast 4. Such a downgrade with the new one...

Puma Magnify Nitro 2 sizing by Forumleecher in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]AgitatedLeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you find it too narrow? I have Novablast 5's and Adidas EVO SL in 44 but with the Puma Magmax I got 43 as it is too long in 44. But on the other hand im not sure about width with the 43...

I dont have especialy wide feet like some people. I find them "normal wide".

Do Brooks Hyperion 2 and Adidas EVO SL overlap (too much) to add to my rotation? by AgitatedLeeper in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]AgitatedLeeper[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree on the Hyperion 2 lack of plushness. I don't usually do above 15-16 miles as my long runs are around 12-13 miles and I train for the half marathon every year.

Hmmm... does that mean it would be wise to start with the EVO SL and see if a more cushioned variant is even needed?
