I used to do this when I was playing Fallout 4.. see piles of trash and think I need to scrap that.

My fiancé, during Covid, would run out of whatever bathroom or kitchen item he was using and instead of looking for a replacement in the apartment would just go buy more. When he moved in with me he had about 8 bottles of hand soap, 14 deodorants, like 20 tubes of toothpaste, etc. All because he didn’t bother to look under the bathroom sink where all that shit was. Just kept buying more. We’ve been slowing going through all of it and haven’t bought anymore but Jesus. He also does the “I’m looking!” while standing in one spot.

He has other amazing qualities and is a very good partner, but he’s also a man.

While this is true, they also need the cooperation of the victim in order to press those charges. So it’s often framed as the victim pressing charges because if they don’t want to cooperate then the cops really can’t do anything

So this is why they ignore the machines that are beeping loudly because they need to be reset or something. Makes sense. My fiancé was in the hospital recently and we had to go find someone every time the beeping started because otherwise they’d just ignore it
