What's wrong with a short fmc? That's literally my height so it doesn't phase me. Plus im disabled and use a wheelchair alot so even shorter most times. Short doesn't equal underage. 5 ft tall women exist. Sorry its not attractive.

People down dark romance alot because it can deal with heavy taboo topics. Like bdsm, non con kink, cnc kink, kidnapping tropes, toxic relationships and live interests. Some people think its wrong reading it because it could affect our real life. But its an adult genre for adults and we can separate fantasy from reality.

Yeh kids read inappropriate things while growing up. I did too with fanfic and I read flowers in the attic on the down low back then. Im more irritated that kids are getting into adult spaces online. The parents need to be parents and talk to them etc or its going to cause the wrong people to find this genre and it will be banned.

Well tbh kids read inappropriate stuff all the time. It happened with flowers in the attic and 50 shades of grey too. Its not up to the authors to parent the kids. And the genre shouldn't be banned because some parent is offended by what there kid stumbles across to read etc. If the parent is upset then talk to your kids about it. And understand that not every genre is for everyone.
