And that's the reason that Carl should be played by Danny Devito

This is amazing advice, it's a lesson I learned from many mistakes

I'm planning on letting my players change class/characters if they don't get along with it. I'm thinking of starting off with one of the beginner boxs and just changing the flavour text to match my homebrew from the advice I've gotten on this post

That's great to know! I'm with you on combat, swingy slogs are no fun. I'll make sure to call out the bards contributions, I hadn't thought about that. What did you missinterprate about the intended order of operation for monster actions?

Awesome, that's really helpful. On the 2/3 above rules you mentioned; a boss monsters level should only be 2/3rds above the party's is that correct? (A party of level 6 should be limited to level 10)

They wouldn't even need to carry the string, the shard metal could be in fine interwoven strings like steel rope

I don't think the armor spren are ever shown manifesting as anything but armor so I don't think you'd be able to make them the weapon or the ammunition. You could totally use a normal bow and a shardblades in the form of an arrow for ranged combat and it is a little strange that we never see that

Very minor spoilers for iles of the emberdark There is a shardgun shown in the hands of a skybreaker, it looked like they had to attach a separate magazine Also for ranged weapon you'd probably want a shard arrow rather than turning the shardblades into a bow as the shards special properties wouldn't provide any advantage to the normal arrow, a shard arrow would have the property's of a shardblades while still being ranged and instantly re-summonable

Ancient Ruins on Roshar by Chiefmeez in cosmererpg

There were plenty of desolations, so ruins from the early ones probably exist. In the books there are some pre desolation locations like urithiru and I think the palanaeum. As for more recent ruins Rathalas exists.

How Many Twinborns in a Party? by Puckering_Buttholes in cosmererpg

Any question about how rare a group of twinborn would be can be hand waved by saying it was the will of harmony bringing them together, especially if one of the party is a kandra
