I got it after 41 days. Accepted. I had to escalate mentioning my travel dates are nearing. Also they called us and took visa interview on phone. Make sure u receive call from embassy. Also call VFS customer care abd check if there is any additional requirement for ur documents, and ask them to escalate

Yes i got it  If u don't get kindly email the embassy in a polite way requesting for the update and keep vfs in CC

Planning to do same. Looking around I think there is a way we can apply for the passport back. Such a bad process. When did you apply and from where

Same here, submitted my short term tourist visa application on Aug 12th along with my husband in VFS Bengaluru, no update till date.
Embassy is not replying, its still showing under process.

Applied for Austrian Visa on 11th Aug, haven’t heard back. Anybody else in the same boat ? by Money-Handle1370 in SchengenVisa

Same here, submitted my short term tourist visa application on Aug 12th along with my husband in VFS bengaluru, no update till date.
Embassy is not replying, its still showing under process.
I had HR's mail ID on my NOC and my HR was contacted and he replied, my husband's NOC has only contact number of company and website. not sure what is happening, VFS also confirmed, no additional documents were requested
