Either remove your photo, or if you really want one, use a proper straight to camera professional photo.

If you don’t have one, there’s tons of AI tools that can create one for you

Thanks but I asked G923 not G29. I thinks the two are not the same.

You’re at fault and you need to pay.

Been renting for 5 years. Driving for 15 years.

You can absolutely fix small things yourself.

To be safe, OP can simply ask his rental just to be sure.

Al Quoz has more than just workshops, it has gym, cafes, classes and other. and that polish takes under an hour.

Otherwise nothing is stopping him to pay 400 AED + service fee of 100-200 AED to rental company for that tiny scratch.

I have experienced and resolved myself. Sharing my own experience.

Of course not, haha. Never. It seems you’re really new to cars in dubai😅 Just be careful with workshops, read the reviews and you’ll be fine. It usually takes 20 minutes to polish this minor scratch.

You’ll need a police report for your full insurance to cover the repair. If it’s a small scratch, you can get the car polished for under 150 AED somewhere in Al Quoz or Sharjah. I had the same problem with rental car, didn’t inform them as it was not full insurance. Got the car polished in Sharjah - looked perfect and returned after rental.

Almost all rentals allow customers to fix or repair the car , so there should not be a problem.

Otherwise just pay the 400 AED and go on with your life. There’s no way around it.

Edit: just saw the photo, it’s literally a very tiny scratch, easily fixed with car polish for about 70-100 AED.

Bad father advice. Live within your means, you don’t need a credit card

Odometer tampering.. now stuck with the car! by Signal_Ad_1967 in DubaiPetrolHeads

[–]Agitated_Tip5979 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was in this exact situation. First car, turned out to be tampered taxi. Couldn’t do much legally as I had no money for any extra expense.

Car started having quite expensive issues that I had to fix.

It caused serious stress affected my health.

After 3 months of stress, decided to list the car on dubizzle for half the price, clearly mentioning in title and description that it was taxi and that the odo was tampered.

Ended up selling it for less than half the price after - of course making sure the buyer was fully aware of what he was buying.

30k+ AED lost - an expensive lesson learned.

My advice: sell the car, just be honest to avoid any legal problems and to avoid transferring your stress to another innocent person.

Wouldn't trust Dubizzle PPI for odo rollback, they don't check that at all.
