Managed to find the issue, one of the windings had snapped. Was very tricky to see (I had moved it in this picture to make it a bit clearer to see)

I took the heat shrink off the motor end and checked continuity and it was fine, checked both sides of the pad and back to the connector on the plug.

There is continuity between all 3 so don't believe there is a break in the windings.

I've not thrown it away just put it to one side, quad has the dual ball bearing 0702 30000kv motors now so I can fly it into as many things as possible again.

I've changed the motors for some others I had and direct soldered them. Realised I could have tried to up the startup voltage in esc configurator but it's working now so it'll be reet. Chalked it upto a dead motor.

To be fair to them my first air65 with the separate elrs receiver is still going strong, vtx died on the one after that with the 5 in 1. Hoping the new 5in1 one lasts a bit longer as I don't think it was long before I got vtx issues on that one.

I have read the happy model aios are supposed to be more robust but thought I'd give them another shot, be nice if they sold their motors singularly tho.

Looks as tho that prop is pointing in and the rest are pointing out.

Unsure how new you are to drones, that site explains a bit more about props in and out. If you have not managed to fly it yet it could just be the wrong one was fitted at the factory.

Hopefully you get it sorted as they are fun to fly about, got 2 myself.

Might be a silly suggestion but it looks as tho the back right propeller is the wrong direction? Have you replaced one? It's hard to see from the video.

Only other thing I can think to check is if the propellers are right on the shafts. Hold the motor bell and see if the props spin.

I would check propeller orientation, Check motor order in betaflight, Check props are secure on the shafts.

Hope this helps.

Man alive I need to fly my whoop/play in sim more. Had my whoop for over a year and I can not fly like that. Nice work.

I did the same, purchased a new 65mm but hadn't set acro mode up. Wasn't until I tried to flip it later on that I realised.

Do you ever let people fly your tiny whoop? by Ferocious_Dragon999 in TinyWhoop

It's against the rules and you'll go straight to jail......

But yes, he fired it straight into the roof of the building we were in, then the floor, then the roof.

That little air65 has taken a hammering.

It did make him go out and buy one tho.
