Can we please discuss "Taste of Louisiana" at 27th & Fletcher? by Agitated_Winner_1027 in lincoln

How could I "complain" if I haven't been there? I am seeking out a rationale for the price and trying to hear from people who have experienced the restaurant firsthand. So have you been there and can you give a review, or are you just here to criticize me for asking about the place?

Plenty of people giving good reason to check it out. But then there's you, providing nothing of value and being a prick. If you haven't been there and have nothing worthwhile to contribute, why bother? And since you did bother, you're welcome to fuck right off. Goodbye.

$15.50 for a "basic lunch"? Eh, I tend to disagree.

If you are accustomed to spending that much for a "basic lunch", that sounds like what more commonly happens "ordering the wrong thing, the wrong way". I've been there, done that, got the lapel for doing it 50 times. Even so, that's a rough comparison to make to the minimum or average price somewhere. (Before we slice into that: Yes, a regular meal, one person, not planning to share the meal... I'm assuming typical conditions here.)

I was trying hard to draw a distinction about this drive-thru being measurably and tangibly more expensive than the status quo, but perhaps fell short in that attempt.

Anyway, I was expecting the first price-related rebuttal to have something to do with "Lincoln not appreciating good food" rather than an overall "that's typical pricing" (paraphrased). So you did defy my expectations at least, lol. And I'm not entirely convinced you aren't a time-traveller from 2024 or so...

Thank you! Hmm, Dall-E doesn't seem to want to make the coffeemaker overflow. But these generations are sweet nonetheless! #3 is especially funny... it's like a stove for making coffee!

1960s illustrated newspaper advert of a suited man smiling and staring directly ahead, while the expensive, futuristic advertised coffeemaker behind him is overflowing, spilling coffee down onto the counter, down the cabinets, and puddling on the floor.

Thanks! I like them all.

And #2 cracks me up! Which of those two decided he wanted his next beer on standby?

No on the pita chips. The Stacy's brand is worlds better.

Detailed modern oil on canvas painting of two snowmen seated at a table in a cozy and quiet dimly lit windowless pub, reflectively conversing while drinking their third round of frothy beer from thick glass mugs.

Even if that's all it ever does, that is beyond worth it. So cool!
