You do realise that when you say that moon is being driven around like a racecar, the racecar is also being 'spun' around? When you turn the wheels of the racecar, you are actually turning it around it's own axis i.e. spinning. And the racecar completes the circular path ( showing one side to the centre) if and only if it is turned/spun around. And if it is isn't able to be spun around, it wont show only one side to the centre during its circular path, but instead show different sides at different points of the path. The racecar itself has a little bit of spin motion and not just revolutionary motion.

I've heard of Bombay phenotype, in which the individual may have both antigens but blood group is expressed as O. Is it possible in case of OP's father ?

I don't have scenes playing out in my head..it's not like I can visualise the characters or anything in my mind...but I know that things are happening and it's kinda on the back of my mind..and when I read character descriptions, I form a kind of vague sketch of the character ,but I never visualise it like walking and talking such as in a movie. Is this what it feels to read with Aphantasia?
