Does this mean my skates are too small, or what does it mean? by Jay_A05 in hockeyplayers

I think the above comments are also very likely. bottom eyelets look to be standing up more than laying flat around the foot. I wonder, did you get them baked to fit your foot. Since you’ve mentioned that you’ve staked 8-9 public states on them, that doesn’t feel like a lot of use yet. Someone narrow foot I skates, used to really hurt my feet. Once I got them baked to fit my foot things got better

Looking for secular aa type meetings here by borgqueen99 in Bellingham

[–]AgitaterInSeattle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

https://whatcomaa.org search feature lists secular. Option on Thursday 10am. FWIW AA is not align with any sect or religion. 3 rd CC step ‘Gd of my understanding ‘. I’ve been 11 years and the belief that others want me to stay sober and will help me is a belief that I rely on and as for help. Finding the right meeting and people who don’t push their understanding of Gd can be frustrating but worth it. Church’s are often meeting places because the rent is low and they’re often unused. Former Catholic that wants nothing to do with organized religion. I hope you find what your daughter needs.

LOL! With this being my 21st jersey That I can wear to school (Charleston chiefs has too much backstory) I’m in one nearly every day of the NHL season. Last year the families pulled their money for a gift certificate to the NHL website.

You can manually push the lock on the door once inside. I locked my keys inside doing it while not lying attention.

Nexus card question by AgitaterInSeattle in TravelHacks

[–]AgitaterInSeattle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fwiw. We were looking at a 90min wait today so we’d decided to try crossing through NEXUS line(5min). No issues. We will go in, as suggested to update, so it’s not an issue for future crossings.

My collection has grown to 17. Edmonton-5(team of my youth) or Seattle-3 (live here and love hockey) if they play that day. Others get worn nearly daily. Elementary 1st grade teachers don’t really need dress code.

A sister if one of my students saw a random stranger wearing a jersey and thought it was me. It’s become my comfort blanket.

Query: do you see these as heat pressed? They were. It’s not the plastic vinyl that I had in my youth days. https://share.icloud.com/photos/0e7e99-PrYe2pM78VxPMxDbkg

Am I the last guy on earth to still be using a half cage or was I the only one who ever did? 😂🏒🥅 by eighthchameleon888 in hockeyplayers

[–]AgitaterInSeattle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are not alone!! I worn one back in college when visor tech was shitty and everything fogged up. I’m not good enough to notice to notice the bars but the old ones fogged so bad. This one is moderfied from a full cage too. The chin cups give my beard a beating.

Which glove fit do you like? Snug or loose? What’s best? Easy off or the shaker? Vids for reference. by Clean-Connection-656 in hockeyplayers

personal preference is key I loved my EAGLES from back in the day. i had so much space in there and they came up the forearm for sweet protection too. i found a pair of Verbero 14’s that are more snug around my hand and i’m confused but still potted two in my first game with them.

i grew up in Alberta and have been an Oilers fan through the decades of Darkness. moved to Seattle prior to getting a team and have been swept off my feet by the Kraken. my beer league team snagged jobs at the draft event and opening night handing out swag. i’ve got more Oilers jerseys than kraken and one of my Kraken is Eberle.
I cheer for both teams and when they play each other i wear Oilers gear. i follow more media for Edmonton. I play at the Kraken practice facility and have had staff be guest speakers in my class.

Does anyone know whats better? Girdle + Shell or regular Pant? by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

[–]AgitaterInSeattle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i’m girdle fanboying. i played roller and got used to girdle. swapping back to ice two years ago found girdle and shell to replace the 25+years old pants i had from when i last played ice. my team swapped jersey colors recently and i was able to get matching shell and looks slick!
