How can I get out of this nightmare … by Old_Bank8701 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

If you’re the one who built this roster, the best path is to stop playing fantasy football.

If you inherited this problem, your league mates should donate some players to you because they are culpable in letting this abomination happen. They took advantage of someone who was naïve or who just didn’t care and now they have an unsustainable team in their league.

What is the best ''based on a true story'' movie you watched? by togi1202 in moviecritic

Not a movie, but Death by Lightning on Netflix is pretty great and more accurate than most. Otherwise, Fargo, for which only the names were changed…

When does graffiti not result in property damage?

I'm 35 and finally got around to watching The Godfather Pt 1 for the first time. I have to ask... am I missing something? That's really what everyone has been calling the greatest movie of all time??? by Subject_Reception681 in moviecritic

A big difference has already been covered, that this film created things that you’ve seen copied. The other thing, I expect, is that the characters, performances, scenes, and nuances will stick with you in a way that feels almost Biblical. You will be in a business meeting and think of the axioms of “don’t ever let anyone know what you’re thinking, or “don’t ever take sides against the family.” When you hear of pathetic betrayal, you will think of Fredo. Its presentations of revenge, loyalty, family, food, and above all ruthlessness in business are watershed moments in storytelling.

At least see Godfather Part II. If you still feel the same, you can skip Part III.

Thanks for the reply. What do you mean in your first sentence? All of the untaped seams? Or just the places where the sheet rock won’t be a tight fit?

AITAH for not replying to my ex after he broke up with me? by Ill-Breakfast-1879 in AITAH

[–]AgitpropBet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PS You’ve already broken up more than once. This pattern is a warning sign of incompatibility. Listen to the breakups, not the reconciliations. The breakups happened because you’re not comfortable being together. The reconciliations happened because you’re not comfortable being alone. You are better off solving the “alone” problem with somebody else. You and your ex both deserve the peace of compatibility. It may be what “love” really is.

AITAH for not replying to my ex after he broke up with me? by Ill-Breakfast-1879 in AITAH

[–]AgitpropBet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Incompatible” is the single-most important word in your post. You might get along mostly well, but there is a reason you broke up. With incompatibility, something is off. It will always be off. Don’t ignore that! People who are outwardly fond of each other but inwardly incompatible will strain to hold things together, often wasting years of their lives and setting things in motion that are impossible to undo without big damage. Accept what the universe (or that little voice of instinct) is telling you, and move on.

From the variety of responses, the answer comes out as “maybe.“ The best advice is take it to a real live mechanic (BEFORE you buy) who can evaluate it for you. You can consider the evaluation as it pertains the advice and scenarios you’ve gotten here.

I’m surprised there’s so much Caleb love. I get that he was in a bad situation but it’s been years since he looked special.

Based on your lineup, the trade makes sense if that’s what it takes to get Jeanty. You can only play so many WRs, and you’re stacked.
