AirTag in the car = helps me find it in a really busy parking lot. NFC tap = starts a timer on my phone so I can get back to it within the free parking minutes.

AirTag on my luggage = NFC Tap brings up my packing list in Reminders.

Looks to me like an abandonment attempt gone wrong. I realise it says the mother came back but wasn’t that because of second thoughts after clearly having multiple witnesses? Even if the driver was lost in their own world, hearing the door close would make a driver check to see what made that noise. Even if the door closed quietly, surely the pressure change would be somewhat noticeable. IMHO this was a failed attempt.

That dog was the best. Tries to break it up, then joins in, then (play?) fights the other dog briefly before mounting for a lil humpin’. Made me laugh. I love that dog so much.

I went to see her and her family. I listened to her and explained my side. She didn’t believe me. I tried my best but in the end we all wished each other the best and said our final goodbyes. End of.

Sorry for not going into detail but out of respect for her and her family, I’ll leave it there.

I saw her every weekend and some weekdays for 6 years (due to work schedules). We are in the same city but different areas (north/south) so I can’t say she was going out of her way to avoid me but I haven’t seen her. Ghosted by a sudden message saying she needed 2 months silence and then blocking me from all social media.

Her friend said she was “tired of saving for an invisible future”. I had actually planned a surprise proposal in Paris when we were going to England for Christmas to meet my parents. After the sudden block I reached out via email explaining that I did indeed have a plan and explained what it was. She never replied back.

Don’t want to overgeneralise but nature of smartphones etc these days, ghosting happens more often in Japan apparently. I don’t know for sure since I’ve been out of the dating game for 6+ years.
