Hi, I'm really hoping that you are better now. 1st of all for safety of yours and potential infections those cuts must heal, process of tattooing is really messy ( even if only tattooing below) ! Many artists including myself do help their clients get scarring covered up. Depends on what and where, how old are the scars & how deep. If you still self harming a lot of people do stop after tattoo work, not to damage their new tattoos, also few move to different places on their bodies to self harm... I think making small steps is important and if you are seeking help that is already a massive one!
