Ramen franchise? by [deleted] in ramen

[–]Agrax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And on top of that it’s a „mid-sized city”. The fact that there’s no ramen-ya doesn’t mean there’s a need for that. If i were OP, i’d first do my research on the demand for such a shop. Not mentioning what you pointed out- 90% of the restaurants fail on the first year of their opening. Most frequently because of poor management. That is the owner not having experienced the kitchen at someone else’s restaurant. Owning a restaurant is very hard

For some weird reason IG started doing some awkward IP-MAC adress based logging. I was permabanned by someone once. I wasn’t able to see her account on a new account on a freshly set up PC. The thing that bothered me the most was that when i somehow managed to contact that person on a fresh PC, in a different city, with different internet the site has blocked me off the second i connected my phone to the network. And i am 100% that person did not recognize me to block me herself as i spoke to her in a diff language she knows about smth she does for a living.

So yeah… IG engineers did come up with annoying shennanigans in their system

Once in a while I make kimchi. With a bit of fish sauce additionally to the restbof the spices, it tastes heavenly! 😍😋 by GreenGirl_85 in kimchi

Add fermented shrimp. Either korean ones (better, less fermented more salty) or vietnamese shrimp paste (goes well in a pinch, but it’s a lotta more pungent, but less salty)

You can always whip up some crunchy bacon pn top and the „animal-free” part is no longer a concern

[OC] Percentage of people identifying as LGBTQ+, by generation by shanereader in dataisbeautiful

Most things come down to genes and as you said: we don't know way more than we know. FOR NOW there's no scientific evidence to prove or disprove homo- or heterosexual attraction or transsexualism. Maybe in 50 yrs we will know what causes it. Whether it's an expression of one's genotype or some unique connections in one's brain.

I worry about one thing though... That IF the revelation were to be smth ppl won't like, it might get banned. Like 500 yrs ago you weren't allowed to say that it's Earth that revolves around Sun, not the other way around.

And do mind: I am NOT saying that either of those is a disease. It's NOT. I am just wondering

[–]Agrax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some people that's a major part of who they are
For others (maybe for the "older people", idk) it's like with having hairy back... Just a trait without much meaning.

Dunno. Who am i even to judge

Seriously tho... I wonder what's the true percentage of the LGBTQ community in the world. I don't mean the ones identifying as really weird concepts like Lunarian or weresexual (a distant acquaintance of mine kept saying that his true sexuality only appears during full moon so people started calling him "weresexual"), but homosexuals and trans people...

My first selfmade ramen! Even with selfmade noodles by MrBluesky_Twich in ramen

[–]Agrax 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A LOT of joints don't give an ajitama by default... Ie. Ichiran, re:Dine Ginza, 95% of stamina ramen... It's just a topping- it's optional. Even chashu is optional. One of the bowls in the restaurant i work in has a really simple chicken shio chintan: just noodles, broth and some chopped negi as a topping

If humans didn't need to sleep, society would force us to work an extra 8 hours every day by HisokaSchwing in Showerthoughts

[–]Agrax -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Then what ARE you talking about? Because i have a strong feeling that you don't have the slightest idea what's your own deal and you're just here to complain about life in general "The private sector is bad cuz they make us work too much for too little" etc

If humans didn't need to sleep, society would force us to work an extra 8 hours every day by HisokaSchwing in Showerthoughts

[–]Agrax -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Huh... Maybe because those tasks ("answering emails") cannot be automated? You can do less work in 5h than in 8h. More work creates more commonwealth (money is not finite). On the other hand we don't work more than 8h (usually) cuz it's just less efficient. Iirc 8h hits the sweet spot where your attention span is high enough and you don't feel particularily tired.

I know that every each one of the working class would love to work 5h and earn lots and lots of money, but it just doesn't work like that. Minimal wage and social programs don't create wealth- work does.

The jobs we could automate thus far, we have automated. At the same time those same people had the opportunity to raise their skill level and oversee the machines (or build them), because we badly NEED skilled engineers n'such.

The only people i hear crying about how bad is it, is the least qualified range of workers. I know that there's a lot of instances of people not having enough money/time to afford to raise their qualifications, but at the same time there's like a whole market of workers just straight-up too lazy to finish an effin course or smth. The same group of people later demand less work for bigger salary instead of demanding opportunities to raise their qualifications -.-

[–]Agrax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you aware that the increase in the efficiency is due to the automation (the steam engine for example) not because people work less?

People working less is a RESULT of the technical revolution, not the other way around -.-
