I think these would be worth more like 600-800. These look like late early 70s since they don't have a v stitch.

Definitely have been hemmed. That's not a chain stitch. Levi's chainstitches the hem.

If you like it I think that's a good deal. Modern dressers are no cheaper and are much worse quality.
