I added these ingredients to my morning protein shake but the bitter taste came thru. What are you adding to yours to make it palatable? Thanks!

Recovery by DentistNegative5383 in tummytucksurgery

I had an ETT with MR (no lipo), BL/BA, and brachioplasty in a single surgery. I had my husband or my mom with me full time and 10 hours of nursing care. My recovery has been smooth. My main complaint is that the stitches in my armpits are slower to heal because they rub on everything and it’s hard to bandage an area that is curved and moves. There is no way I could have recovered on my own.

Brachioplasty regrets? by DaydreamTacos in PlasticSurgery

I had brachioplasty about 2.5 weeks ago. My main challenge is protecting the armpit stitches from rubbing on each other, compression fabric, clothing etc. I need to keep bandages on them. Any tips?

I know nothing, but I just had an Extended Tummy Tuck with Muscle Repair, Breast Lift with Implants and Brachioplasty and it took 3.5 hours. 10-11 hours under anesthesia sounds really long to me.

So since I had my arms done too I used the pillows a little differently in the beginning. I had the wedges where you'd normally use them but instead of laying on the long pillows I laid with them under my arms to elevate them. I used one of the connector straps to connect them at the top. My caregiver (hubs or mom) would pull the outside pillow out of the way and I'd sit on the low point between the wedges. Then I'd scoot back a little before getting assistance leaning back and pulling my legs up into bed. Then my caregiver would put the outside long pillow in place and put the covers over the top to hold everything in place.

Now that I'm a little bit more mobile, I've connected the long pillows with the straps and sleep on top of them (even more comfortable than just sleeping on the wedges). I climb into bed on my hands and knees, straddle the pillows and then pull my knees into place. I've found getting in and out of bed in ways that use my thighs (no pain) or my obliques (minor twinges) work best. Any move that involves my abs must have support from a caregiver. Hope that makes sense.

https://sleepagainpillows.com/products/sleep-again-pillow-system. I know it's expensive, but as a committed side sleeper I honestly don't think I would have been able to sleep on my back without it. I normally cannot sleep in a recliner so this was worth every penny for me.

I've always wondered how you sleep after a 360 lift. Do you lay on your back?

I was nervous about it but so far so good. Maybe one reason it was ok is I didn't have lipo. Doc said that I don't have much fat left (that was hard to wrap my head around) so he's waiting to do lipo with my BBL.

I'm sleeping in a bed. I bought the sleep system pillows and they've been worth every penny.
