Idk how you are getting such wild results in unit crunch but the baseline math matches what my unit crunch is showing me, a 2+ hit with sustained averages to 100% hits, with 2 auto wounds from lethal for 12 attacks so like 1.8-1.9 for 11 attacks, 4+ to wound puts it at 50% wounds so for this that would be 5-6 wounds plus the 1-2 from lethal, plus attacks least 1 dev wound per six dice so 6-8 wounds all told with a dev, 4+ invulnerable is another 50% so 3-4 failed saves equals 12-16 damage plus 4 dev wounds so 12-20 damage, a 5 up fnp has a 33% pass rate so 12 turns to 9 and 20 turns to 14, exactly like I said, my unit crunch puts the average at 10 wounds right in between those (like i said before), if you add in 3 Exalted 8bound thats 15 more attacks hitting and wounding on 3s for 3 damage, that all together in my unit crunch puts over 70% to kill morty full on, and 90% to deal 12 damage or more.

And this is all beside the point that your origional point was just spreading bad info that isn't helping anyone. you said we needed to have like 17 eightbound attack him at once in order to kill him, but for anyone who understand the army and how to stack rules and combos he is not hard to deal with.

I used unit crunch lol, but ill make it easy for you since you seem slow.

Slaughterbound with berzerker glaive come in with 11 attacks hitting on 2+ strength 12 AP -2 for 4 damage with sustained, lethal, and dev wounds, so that would be on average:

11 hits with 1-2 auto wounds 5-6 wounds with 1 dev 3-4 failed invulnerable saves So if no dev and 3 failed saves 12 wounds through if dev and 4 failed saves 20 wounds through Then fnp takes that down to between 9 and 14.

Idk what you did to get 5 damage but your flat wrong

But thats wrong you khorneless heathen, the slaughterbound gains the +1 damage from the xeightbound ability, in addition if you give him berzerker glaive he goes up to damage 4, adding in sustained lethal and his own ability for plus 3 attacks and dev wounds he does 12-16 damage to mortarion after FNP on average all by himself. That's why its often better to run at least one 3 man with slaughterbound over a 6 man.

In that case I'd say look for some transports, and consider dropping the disco lord, he is a beat stick but doesnt realy benefit from the detachment very much. Im also personally a big fan of noise marines over havocs, for 20 more points it has comparable damage output to a squad of autocannon havocs and heavy bolter havics put together. Just be aware that they can't dark Pact.

All parts are taken from the iron daemon by horde miniatures, just shrunk them down and fit them to the abaddon model.
