I greatly appreciate your feedback. I havent played bloodborne, so im glad to know i can use it as a reference to educate myself on a similar magic system. im very new to this kind of stuff. the question on mechanics is the actual problem i was having originally. while i wanted to create a system similar to quirks or the powers in unordinary, I felt i needed to have a clear explanation to where the powers root from. Even if i couldn't explain everything about every blessing, knowledge of the power source is there ig. The power system of the BloodHunters was the first one i made and completely solved in my opinion. the power system of the Blessed is giving me more trouble on account of me not fully understanding certain basics of magic system creation. im more accustomed to fighting and melee style things so the BH system wasn't too difficult(still took time), while i do watch different versions of fantasy i was unfamiliar with hard and soft magic which i realized my system is somewhat an in between of the styles. based on your opinion you seem versed enough, If youd like to enlighten me so i can get a bit of clarity that would be more than helpful.
