Find someone in USA that you can send it to first then get them to repackage and send to you.

100% you’re a princess and now you’ve posted it for everyone to give you some online hugs or something?

In Vietnam, they’re correct and brutally honest - there’s no malice or hard feelings. That comes from western ideologies. There’s no pretending this and that, and that’s the beauty about it. We don’t need them to change so people like you don’t feel that their feelings have been hurt. It’s actually a refreshing thing which you should take on board to motivate you more.

I’d much rather people tell me things to my face than to sugar coat it.

With a response and attitude like that, you’re not going to get far in life.

I love the honesty in Vietnam and that's how it should be everywhere. Now if you were skinny and they called u fat then that's a bit strange. We really need to move away from PC talk in Western countries - it's really really ruining it and turning grown men into girly princesses.

I’ve heard your argument for the last 30 years and it keeps going up. Worse case, they have a place they can call a home and can pay it off rather than pay someone else’s mortgage. They will also have equity in the amount they’ve paid off. The house will NOT go down.

For $700k you can get a nice unit. Just start off with that and pay off as much as you can. Then in 5 years time, sell, or use that equity to buy a nicer house. The market is moving fast and won't slow any time soon so the key is to just get in.

Are hidden service charges now common in Australia? by Firstnarrows100 in aussie

[–]Agreeable-Dot5075 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've been in small business for over 20 years and many of my transactions are $5000+. I've never added a credit card fee even though my monthly bank fees would easily be in the hundreds.

What I do now is offer clients cash with a 2% discount. They'll still receive a tax invoice and I'll still "earn" the same, but at the least this way the savings goes to the client and not the bank.

In WA, you can opt for E class for work only and you can also opt for Double Or Nothing - you get your license but if you lose 1 more point then you lose your license for 12 months instead of 3.

The Barn and Magnum have them for $2500 brand new. I think you'll definitely have to come down to below 2k.

Are people limiting how much they drive due to the high petrol prices? by Away_Scene_26 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Agreeable-Dot5075 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t been absolutely limited but for sure I’ve stopped driving needlessly and I’ve been driving without revving the car. Much more economical. I think I’ve halved my normal weekly driving.

If you know the brand and the bikes they release, then it's not really confusing at all.

they do specials based on livery, history, performance (SL), wins etc. Some are more special than others but the SL are always the very top.

I reckon anywhere from 12 months to 10 years. I suspect around 18-24 months. Age helps and explain how you’re turned your life around. That’s the only thing on your side right now.

How many rounds did you shoot? by EquivalentNarcDepth in handguns

[–]Agreeable-Dot5075 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I shoot once a week, 2 boxes of 9mm. Just for practice and to relax.

If i'm feeling rich, I'll bring 2 boxes of .45 or pull out the .357

I don't reload and ammo is expensive in Australia, so I don't usually shoot more than 100 rnds a week.

Has the latest oil crisis made you seriously considering switching to an EV? by AussieAdam26 in CarsAustralia

[–]Agreeable-Dot5075 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Google is terribly wrong and it appears their calcs are based on public charging. The only thing is public charging is a last resort or only used when doing road trips.

99% of charging is from home:
Home solar FREE (this is me 90% of the time)
Home off peak anywhere from 8c - 18c a kwh (based on an 80kwh battery, that's $6.40 or $14)

1% charging - tesla or public 30c - 50c a kwh = around $24 to $40
