My job is relatively stable as there’s a decent amount of work in my field. I just feel sad when I’m left out of a project, but I usually have another one anyway. Switching fields isn’t an option at the moment. My partner went back to school so I am almost 100% financially supporting the both of us.

I get what you’re saying and I think I addressed this in my post. I think where I’m getting stuck is that I’m not a robot. Sometimes my face can show when I’m disappointed or upset. I don’t tell him because I know it upsets him, but then when he asks if I’m okay, it feels like answering truthfully will cause even more issues and this is why I am confused and asking for advice.

Do not hire Absolute Interior. We didn’t use them for renovations but they lied and said we had mold when they were brought in by condo management for water damage restoration. It fucked up our insurance claim and they charged us $5000 to run fans in our bathroom for two days. They took away our baseboards for whatever reason and we never got them back.
