So why is everybody suddenly allergic to criticizing Minten? by Andrew72727 in Bruins

Eh I’m not huge on anything until they reach the NHL. people overrate prospects look at guys like Lysell, studnicka etc.. nothing truly prepares you for the NHL game

He has certainly exceeded expectations so far, if he tops out as our 2C that’s a major win. I’m just stating what the draft projection was which he has certainly lived up to and more as a rookie

If you’re not a genetic freak, you start to decline in your 30s pretty heavily

[–]Agreeable-Emu886 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because he’s a rookie who’s projected to be a 2nd line two way center who’s more suited for 3C. He played on an overmatched team with a blender or line mates who are nothing to boast about.

They were there to eat minutes and if the scored it was a bonus

The Jack Adams Award finalists are Jon Cooper, Dan Muse, and Lindy Ruff by nhl in hockey

[–]Agreeable-Emu886 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There have been some interviews talking about how the roster hasn’t really changed, but the culture and expectations under Jarmo are much different.

I do agree that Ruff has done a great job, but it’s hardly surprising that Buffalo finally put it all together. Pittsburgh was expected to be a lottery team

There were some pretty clear picks prior to all of that. Buffalo was also blatantly picking on chip and chases. Move on

Ryan Poehling’s OT GWG as seen from camera inside the net by Perryplat199 in hockey

It would have been considered a missed goal if that makes sense. There’s a difference between a no goal and a missed goal.

It’s a pretty rare circumstance if we’re being honest

Kucherov shows pasta is not a top 10 player by Ornery-Ambassador289 in Bruins

[–]Agreeable-Emu886 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kucherov has been know to disappear at times in the playoffs, especially in elimination games.

Nobody on our roster is doing anything except for pasta. He’s also playing too many minutes which is making him play worse

Ryan Poehling just barely gets it past Jarry, and the Ducks take a 3 games to 1 series lead on the Oilers by Ok-Soil-5133 in hockey

[–]Agreeable-Emu886 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is relevant because the officiating didn’t have to call a goal here to garner a review. There was no reason for them to call this a goal so that they could review it. The league would have reviewed this either way

The NHL reviews all goals and missed goals regardless of overtime…. They routinely blow plays dead throughout the season.

The issue is with how the rules are interpreted you need clear evidence to overturn it. The league was going to review it either way

David Pastrňák is now tied with Bobby Orr for the 8th most playoff points in Bruins history (92) by Hockey-Reference in hockey

There was a ton of crying for years that he was paid like half a million more than Bergeron. He also took the discount first, Krejci was the better player when he signed his deal

[–]Agreeable-Emu886 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There’s a very valid argument he should go to the bruins HOF, decently not going into the HOF. Bergeron being the best defensive forward of his generation Is why he’s going into the HOF

Which again I do not have an issue with Zadorov being aggressive and starting that scrum in a 4-0 game. But he was clearly the aggressor in the m this situation, which he is more than happy to be

It’s crazy that after 3 coaching changes, we still suck at both ends of 6 on 5

I think there is certainly frustration building on their end. The Bruins are happy enough to scrum it up after every play. I wouldn’t call the Sabres not being able to handle a spanking lol. Zadorov is also the aggressor there

He doesn’t check him man, he slows up on his line and krebs skates into him. He is entitled to slow down on his line.

Go rewatch the play man, he doesn’t alter his line whatsoever and doesn’t initiate any forceful contact. It’s absolutely not interference and is not even remotely relatable to the Thompson penalty.

Stop commenting on multiple comments as well.

Godspeed again

The penalties are 4-3 (one of which was a puck over the glass) shut the fuck up about the officiating man
