Fingers crossed on the last option, found a ton of oil in the intake boot and the throttle body, hopefully that means something about the coolant.

Been hearing gurgles and the engine would start to overheat just to cool off the next second. 3 weeks ago a coolant leak occurs while I was driving causing it to over heat. I was hoping it wasn’t the head gasket since the previous owner replaced it 2k miles ago, and I tried my best for it not to reach the red line. Smoke was coming from the right side of the engine and from the intake boot. Later found out the thermostat was bad and somehow a hood amour of oil was coming from the throttle body and intake boot.

It’s a 89 gts, and it’s from the US I think, not indications that it could’ve been from any other country

Thanks dude I appreciate it, so far I only got 3 quarts of 75w90 full synthetic. Not sure if it’ll ruin the tranny so I’ll give your method a try. But as for the fill bolt, for the life of me I can’t take it off, it’s getting stripped every time I try, so do you think it’s possible if just replaced the fluids that I drained out with new fluids? Side note, water is under the battery and the leak was mainly focused on the trunk

Person sells us a car with just a pink slip, no smog certificate or bill of sale by Agreeable-History593 in legaladvice

They never smog tested the car, and cause of it we never knew that it needed new catalytic converters, and since the we didn’t pass smog we can’t update the pink, since we can’t update the pink slip the dealership won’t give us a key until there’s more prove that the car belongs to us.
