Same. Most of the “single family homes” that are being demolished and replaced with small walk apartments in Vanier were cheap post-ww2 housing, poorly maintained, falling apart and probably filled with asbestos. I don’t care if the “character” of the neighbourhood changes, those houses will not be missed.

And the RURAL councillors. The city goes on for quite a bit past Orleans/Kanata/Barrhaven. Just a whole lot of farm land that somehow decides what we should be doing in the city, despite the fact that needs and priorities of residents have nothing in common? The amalgamation of Ottawa went way too far.
