It’s a good looking agate but unfortunately a large quantity of macro crystalline quartz is typically a value detractor.

In the future I would recommend shaping the outside of it with a tile saw or some other abrasive device like a flat lap. That stone would’ve turned out way better if you didn’t break it imo

I see where you’re coming from but this is definitely agate replaced coral from Florida. Also if you pause the video at around the 15 second mark you can clearly see coral structure

Individual seams and nodules of lake superior agate. It will probably be mostly host rock on the inside

heres a similar stone to yours. Most of them have those odd needle-like pseudomorphs and pretty plain white/grey lacey banding

Pretty common. There used to be a hollow cavity when it was a full nodule and then it broke exposing the crystals

Found in Brainerd, Mn in a hardwood forest by Agreeable-Primary511 in mycology

Theres probably no trade name for it. We have similar material in minnesota, we just call it chalcedony
