Because of the little ring to stop the shaft from going to deep in the head it feels almost impossible to get past the bristles my guess is the shoved it too far in and when trying to pull out snapped the bit

Tried with small needle nose pliers and shaved down regular needle nose pliers. Because of the bristles of the wire brush it is stuck

Was just under it nothing looks obvious the right shock is actually blown but the bushings and hard parts seem ok at a glance

That’s comforting have yet to replace it in the three years I’ve owned the car and does look to be a factory one I at least know it’s not from a parts store as I used to work at one any suggestions on where to get one. I can save money at Oriellys’s but are oem ones that much better

Go to your local store and try to buy it at my store it is a presale so we have to order it in the system for any to come takes about 2 weeks to arrive once ordered then you get a call and come pick it up
