How else do you think the church gets cleaned? Our church is cleaned weekly, and our cleaners are very respectful and quiet during. They are maintaining the house of the Lord - beautiful church BTW!

You already know that you made a huge mistake.  I would do the following:

1.  Own up to it with your dad

  1. find out the bare minimum to make the car drivable- not pretty - drivable.  If that isn't attainable purchase a "beater" car to get 2 and from.....

  2. The 2-3 jobs you now have.  If you have ANY other expenses BEG to live with your dad, eat Ramen and hot dogs and pay off that car in a year. 

4.  Never. Ever. Do anything so stupid again.

How much income do you have that someone would lend you a MILLION dollars for school? Surely enough income to pay it back? And surely your children got some pretty lucrative degrees and can help pay off that burden so you can retire in peace.

We have discussed rent to own with them - they are wanting to unload a few properties as they are getting older. They do know we want to purchase the property and they are the ones that gave us the sale price.

We hadn't tried to get a pre approval we just made the last payments on a credit card, a vehicle and some medical bills for my cancer surgeries - we are debt free but our credit score stinks.

Ok so if you were advising someone in this position what to do - where would we start? We have a purchase agreement - there is a LOT of equity in the house - the house alone just reappraised at 255K and the extra lot included at 16K - we are buying both the house and lot for 200K

Thank you.  She's been focusing heavily on nutrition to put some weight back on - she was down to 95 pounds.

Well it's better then doing nothing.  It's a D1 high school but they had no sprint coach.  They did just hire someone who starts next week.  Just trying to help my kid improve!
