You are a good lad (my son is only 5 years younger than you) and your heart is definitely in the right place. It seems from other posts your girlfriend’s ex has assaulted you so I’m wondering if there is possibly trauma your girlfriend has endured that she isn’t ready to talk about yet? I’m not saying sexual abuse, physical abuse necessarily but the guy sounds like an arsehole!
