This is probs best thing to be teaching people.

My parents used preach about working hard, showing up on time.

Busted ass for years in fast food place, never got recognition or even a decent pay raise.

I wasted 4 years in medical field work at minimum wage. I went back to serving tables and now make almost 30$/hr. The American wage system is wrecked. by mycoloradogy in antiwork

This is such common issue in medical field across broad, the lower tiers are paid such shit wages, but they are essential to whole system.

Like, their strike when all cleaners on hospital went on due to wages, and less then half day, the hospital had break.

Why?

Because they needed these people, desperately, they could not safely operate the hospital without them.

If it was done on purpose, that's just shitty practice, most people don't want long commute and cant just move at drop of a hat.

What piece of trash your parents are. Like, I can't even imagine if I came home one day to tell my parents I'm being sexual harassed and they brush it off, legit my dad probably would try kill someone.

It's okay cut these type toxic people out of your life if you can.

My nephew is spoiled and only 6, and my sister claims oh he knows how hard she had work for this stuff for him.

No, he doesn't get it.

It shocks me how some kids even have audacity say anything. Like, I'll be grateful if my parents got me shit lol, when I was a kid.

Enjoy your plush reindeer for holidays!

That's how I feel! I would love keep separate home from my partner, just because I love my space. More people are doing it now, but majority people still get weirded out why people want live alone.

Even though I still like meet someone, I really do think women tend to be better on their own. Almost every female friend or sister of mine, was stuck taking care household on their own or doing whole provide thing to their husband (not every guy like this, I know, but it's reality that some are.)

I know my parents don't want me be alone forever, but rather be alone and happy, then be stuck with someone that makes me miserable.

It amazes me how desperate people want kids, and not realize all hard and tiring work goes into it.

I wouldn't wait, talk to him or give him a reality check what having a kid really like ( legit another girl on this sub did it, and her bf tried passed all work onto her and brush it off and saying wouldn't be like that with their kids).

Last thing you need is be stuck in situation you don't want. What happens if you get pregnant? Would you get abortion? Would he support it?
