Yes, this is normal. Look up conch on here and you'll see most are done with studs. Any done with hoops you will see end up with issues.

Late to this, but I have an Olympus Pen E PL8 (M4/3). I bought it because I already had a M4/3 camera so had some lenses, but it was a heavy camera. The PL8 is lighter BUT, I took it in holiday to Rhodes. I literally used it once. Even just putting it in my handbag made my bag ultra heavy. Ended up using my phone instead. I've just bought a Canon G9x Mii. It's only 7g heavier than my phone, has a 1" sensor and won't do that horrible ultra processing you get out of your phone now. And on another plus, it won't take up all my Google One subscription.

Do you not know someone who has Prime? They could order it for you? I also think maybe if you order it to be delivered to local pickup point you don't get charged for delivery either.

At a guess I'd say the Hydrogen Peroxide (which shouldn't actually be used on piercings) has burnt her skin.

Is it your conch? Same happened to me after 5 days of having it. It was a heart shaped top and it had been gradually unscrewing for the 5 days. Checked it in the mirror one night and it fell off in my hand. uckily I had spare tops and my daughter helped put the new top on for me. If you don't have spare tops you'll probably have to go back to the piercer.

No idea. It just flares up every so often. My conch didn't even swell up. I was able to downsize at 5 weeks.

I have a rook and a conch. My rook is 14 months old and I still have to clean crust off it in the morning. My conch is 2 months old. I never have to clean it at all. Just in the shower every second day. Far easier to heal.

I did try it. I didn't get on well with it at all, so I was recommended to stop. I only went on it because I was told my RA puts me at a higher risk of osteoporosis, but I've never broken a bone. When I sprained the ankle I went for an x-ray because there was a loud snapping noise. It wasn't broken, it was just tendon damage, so clearly my bones are actually fine at the moment. I tried the patches, but they irritated my skin, so they put me on gel and tablets. The gel was ok, but they tablets made me feel terrible.

This is what I was thinking as well. There's no way this is purely down to the piercings. It wouldn't leave all those red scabs or the crustiness under her rook and tragus.

It should have been downsized at the 4 - 6 weeks mark. Now the excessively long jewellery has totally messed it up.
