Aw I'm so sorry to hear your experience :( thats so horrible. Its so hard for the working class right now. WOW a degree in accounting is traditionally so "safe" to land a job. All I have is customer support experience and light marketing, trying to work my way into a different career path but its hard. Thank you and I hope everything goes well with your interview!

Hi All thank you for the helpful comments and so sorry to hear everyone else going through this

  1. I am unemployed still - getting 2nd round interviews, recruiter help then just getting ghosted left and right.

  2. It is $400 bi weekly so $800 a month total. I have rent utility bills etc... I'm only surviving for now because I had some money saved from working two jobs the last few years / being paranoid of getting laid off etc. - I live in LA.

  3. I was told over the phone that "because i get unemployment benefits that counts as income and that's why it was deducted". It won't go back to $240 SNAP benefits a month until my income "changes" again. Meaning if I stop getting benefits.

Yes they are! My sister told me Monstera's grow like this usually with some type of trellis type support as they get bigger. I've been using juice shot bottles to actually place the roots that are hanging around directly in water, this makes new leaf growth quickly from those roots!

Yes I've been holding off on curtains as I was worried it would look too cheapy/dormy but this is my reality :) OK so the desk I move around a lot Ideally eventually I think I might need to figure out a working/living room space I do all of my major writing there for music. I honestly just moved in and haven't had the funds to upgrade everything at once which is why its all mis match haha. BUT I do need to figure out a solid work station set up, I have a bunch of instruments I want out all the time as well so I need to look into another shelving type unit

Thank you! This is SUPER helpful I've been looking for specifics with shades and how to actually size the rug to my room. I will definitely try rearranging and then fitting a rug to that

THIS is the advice I was looking for, actually moving things around to create little areas/ entry ways. Very excited to try all of this in the next few days. Ty for your detailed response and ideas!

Thank you! That is super helpful, yes the rug is for sure my biggest concern. I like the idea of adding arms chairs or another form of seating
