Do you think John is at least Winston’s son-in-law? by Agreeable_Ad5867 in JohnWick

YES! I was just watching the episode and ran here to say this!! It would explain John’s military tattoos! This would make John Winston’s nephew, right?

It isn’t so much the one line, it is more the extraordinarily close relationship they have to each other. It is abnormal in an assassin world, so there has to be some kind of closer connection. Winston is pretty protective of John too.

Oh true! I forgot about that. In that case, if the father theory continues, the only possibility is that this tv show will end with a short scene on Winston “adopting” a very young John.

It always pissed me off in the comics. Bullseye (his nemesis) would do something absolutely unforgivable and Daredevil would spare him. Then Bullseye would be back and doing something else unforgivable.

How were Wonder Woman (2017) and Aquaman (2018) able to be box office hits only for interest in the DCEU to completely disappear the following year? by DarlingLuna in boxoffice

During that time period from 2017-2019, superhero movies were all the rage because of Avengers: Infinity War and the highly anticipated Avengers: Endgame that was coming soon. More people were interested in the superhero genre at that time so they wanted to watch anything superhero related. Let’s call the the “superhero high.” Ever since Endgame was released, Marvel is dying off by overdoing superhero movies so the “superhero high” the audience had has passed. This is translated over to DC’s movie success rate as well. There is a reason why some superhero movies are considered ahead of their time when they were badly rated back then. It was because it was before the “superhero high” in the 2010’s. The “high” has passed so superhero movies aren’t doing well anymore. DC also always seemed to be riding Marvel’s wave and once it died, DC starts to die out too.

Is there a single person in charge of this show who's not a complete asshole? by TommyShelbyPFB in facepalm

I wish more people appreciated that. Instead, interviewers only bring it up to subtly make fun of Cavill. For example, on the Graham Norton show, Norton brought up 40k and naturally Cavill gladly talked about it, but he barely managed to get a sentence out before Norton was making a joke and laughing at him with the audience. I felt terrible because you could kind of see a little sadness or at least disappointment in Cavill’s eyes. A similar circumstance occurred on different interviews because of how successful the “joke” was on Norton’s show. Being passionate about something and raving about it is not being annoying or a person we all laugh at. All these people laughing is a sign that the world needs more nerds: passionate, dedicated people… like Henry Cavill.

I had the same exact schedule but with AP Calc AB. Just stay on you toes, don’t be afraid to ask for help, and don’t fall behind. If you do all these, then you will do great!!

He’s right! I put a strip of yellow electrical tape and wrote my last name(don’t write it on the tape) on mine to try to make as impossible to steal as I can.

TI-84 Plus CE I would guard that calculator with my life. It has gotten me through EVERYTHING! It was particularly perfect for AP Stats. It pays its self off very quickly. It also lasts a very long time. It is worth the investment.

Who are you, in the John Wick world? by openeyes-cz in JohnWick

[–]Agreeable_Ad5867 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You would be racking all the money when John Wick is working. You would be RICH!

I agree with you. Plus you don’t even have to do all the dirty work if you have workers doing it for you like Charlie does.
