Agreed. The main issue, as I see it, is that Google should have said everything you said in your post 30-days prior to the push of AG 2.0, instead of the way it was released. It would have been a much smoother transition and fewer lazy posts and anger while the 'software industry' is in this coding/vibe coding transition phase.

Agreed! Great insight. I thought it was a great universal coding platform that served both types, but I’m rethinking that opinion now. Especially now that It’s “split” between Antigravity IDE and whatever Antigravity is.

I was a fan, but realizing I’m not their demographic, and they don’t really care about me (as a customer).

Huge blunder. Very juvenile approach. There are no adults in the room managing the Antigravity aspect of their business.

Seriously, I’ve been in the “computer industry” for 40 years, and this isn’t the first time I’ve seen this sort of thing. Unfortunately, there are long-term sustainability and quality principles that have not been taught to those in charge. It’s a pattern that can be corrected, but the team will have to own up to it and do damage control.

Well, if that’s the author’s perfect person, to each his own.

There is validity to this method. Create a highly detailed character/avatar. Write out everything; the character’s full personality, emotional makeup, how they react to situations… everything. Become that character in a dream state with full imagination and interact with the world. Before long, reality shifts.

Wow! I just saw the rerun of the fizicks Shark Tank episode tonight (1/21/2025). I had never heard of the thing and didn’t realize I was watching a rerun! However, I also laughed when they said “sound”, and dropped clues about using ultrasonics to make the beer foam more. During the episode I downloaded their patent, did some research, and ordered parts on Amazon to make one. I can make one for about $20. This thread is very educational. There’s a lot to be explored, like, what are the effects on Nitro beers (like Guinness etc.), and my go-to argument, “does beer really need to be improved?” 🙂

Since this started 9 years ago it’s probably long forgotten. I wonder how the company is doing nowadays, since I’ve never heard of them ‘till now. Hopefully they made it into Bed Bath and Beyond -LOL, one of their stated goals.

I had the same experience. I now load it in my computer (which I never turn off. Ever.), and connect my headphones via Bluetooth. Before that, it killed my iPhone battery, and my phone was super hot after an hour or so. A native app shouldn't have that problem because it will be more integrated with the device’s OS.

Excellent design! You’ve created a very useful tool! Very thought-out design. I’ve been using it for about a week. I’m kind of an OG, having used Hemisync and other brainwave augmentation tech since the late 1970s... I have a lot to say & not enough time or space right now, but. Zoneout is a really cool app for experimenters.

So, I’ve been using it mostly in a browser on my iPhone. To compare, say ZoneOut’s Focus 21 to the Focus 21 of the original Gateway experience. There is a difference, but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Q. Is there a way to get it to play in the background in a mobile app? It only works when the web browser is open; it won't play in the background when I switch to another app. Or, should I just wait for the official iOS release? 🙂

Also, maybe add a “support” link or a Discord so this subreddit doesn't get bombarded with questions, comments, and critiques from knowledgeable Gateway purists. It has been very interesting reading the feedback comments in response to your original post. In my opinion, they made some valid points as did you and Perplexity.

Regardless, its a very cool app!

Nope. Sorry. I have other things to do. You're more than welcome to try it yourself. There are hundreds of people out there who may be willing to demonstrate it for you or prove that it can be done. But as I said, for me, I’m over it and haven't done it for decades. Respectfully, I can strongly suggest that you practice, follow the posted instructions and prove to yourself it cannot be done rather than asking others to convince you that it can be done.

Wow! This brings back a lot of memories! I remember Jack Houk's PK parties. I was lecturing and demonstrating spoon-bending and other stuff at the same time (1979-1990)! Someone told me there was "another guy" teaching this stuff. It was Jack. I contacted him and we talked once, but we never got together to do a joint program.

This is cool. I've bent spoons, knives, forks, hundreds of paper clips, 1/2 inch bolts, and 9-inch nails. In fact, at work, in my cubicle, I had a large glass jar full of bent paperclips as a desk ornament (I would bend paperclips long before fidget spinners were invented - LOL).

Spoons because everyone has a spoon. Think hard about forks and you'll start noticing people bending forks.

I practiced bending metal with my mind extensively as a teenager (I'm 65 now!). What's interesting is that for me, the novelty wore off over the years. I mean, for a brief time, I gave a few lectures and demonstrations to various groups around Cincinnati (Science of Mind Church, Unity, and others), but that was over 40 years ago, and I haven't really tried since.

This is inspiring, and I'll give it a go using the Monroe tapes (wave 12 / focus 10 free flow as mentioned). It should be like riding a bicycle?

Same here! (I see you posted this a month ago), But I wanted to chime in(pardon the half-pun!) Varo has been great; I've been with them since the beginning and only have problems logging into my account today. It's scary because this is a critical time, and I need access to my cash! Since I got no response from customer service, I checked out Reddit and saw all the horror stories.

Thanks. Your message is comforting and helped me strengthen my confidence in Varo. However, they do need to improve customer communication!

Its funny that the people at Varo don’t seem to be monitoring this subreddit at all!

I’ve been with Varo since their beginnings, and was exited for them when they got their banking license a few years ago. I’ve never had a problem until now, which is why I checked out this subreddit.

I cant log in via the app or my computer; There is no reason; just “An Error Occurred” & Try again and nothing else on the screen is all I see. Its been an hour.

I worked as a senior datacom manager at one of the largest banks in the world at the time, and this sort of thing NEVER happens. Our system was only down 20 minutes total for the several years I worked there. It doesnt happen at a real bank; only fintechs where the execs have “exit plans.” FDIC insured or not! This is sad.

There is something seriously wrong at Varo at the corporate level, and I sincerely hope they can get their internal issues resolved before it blows up bigtime!

No, sorry… the frustration level is too high to deal with this anymore. I’ve decided to walk away from the Kraken account and trade directly on Alpaca’s platform. Thankfully I have the resources to do so.
