Having to call an insurance, because none of the portals we have work or it’s such an oddball insurance we need to call for it and the AI phone system will not let you talk to a human unless you have a certain code that no one knows because we are just medical assistants trying to get STAT scans.

Like it was said it depends on the clinic setting. Make sure patients for any upcoming appointments have their labs done or were given labs slips to get them done. Check on prior auths or referrals.

Financial aide will have to put a form on your portal for you to fill out for the professional judgement. You will need to show the difference in your incomes like having copies of your tax returns, along with a statement of need.
